Make an easy meal using chicken breast that everyone will love. This Chicken Parmesan takes all the shortcuts making this one easy recipe perfect for busy moms.

Baked Chicken Parmesan is perfect for a weeknight dinner recipe when you want something quick and delicious. I swear this is a stupid easy recipe and it is ready in 30 minutes!
Ingredients
- Your choice of Marinara Sauce (I prefer BERTOLLI® Tomato & Basil Sauce for this recipe)
- 4 Sprigs of Basil
- 6 Boneless Chicken Cutlets or Chicken Breast
- 1 pkg Spaghetti or Angel Hair Pasta
- Olive Oil
- 1 cup Panko Bread Crumbs or Italian Bread Crumbs
- 3/4 cup Flour
- 2 Large Eggs
- 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella
- 1 cup Grated Parmesan
- 3 Cloves of Fresh Garlic
- Garlic Powder
- Salt
- Black Pepper

Now you can make your sauce homemade which probably would taste better but who has time for that? This is a lazy mom recipe as such I’m using a premade sauce.
You want thin chicken cutlets or chicken breast slices. If your chicken breast is thick cut just use a knife to slice it thin and try pounding it down with a meat mallet.
How-to
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a shallow bowl combine flour, breadcrumbs, and seasoning including salt, pepper, garlic powder, and parmesan cheese.
In another shallow bowl beat eggs with 1 tablespoon of water or milk.
Dip your thin chicken breast slices into the egg and then coat them in the breadcrumb seasoning mixture. I like to make sure my chicken is well coated with the crunchy seasoning on both sides and inside any crevices.
Generously add your olive oil to your shallow baking dish and lay your coated chicken breast inside. Top with a bit of sauce and the remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese and the basil sprigs. Add your garlic cloves to the baking dish. Bake it in the oven for 20 to 30 minutes or until crispy.
While your chicken breast is baking cook your pasta and warm up your pasta sauce on the stovetop. I like my pasta to be al dente and I warm up my sauce in a separate saucepan.

Once your chicken breasts are cooked and crispy your meal is complete and ready!
Serve your crispy Chicken Parmesan over a bed of pasta and top with as much sauce as you like.

Side Dishes
This is a full meal served with pasta but if you like this meal goes well with garlic bread and/or a side salad.

This Recipe is also great for kids
Serve this recipe to kids. Just cut the cooked chicken and serve the pasta on the side.
