Check out this list of fun things for kids to do indoors that isn’t tv. I’ve included all of my family’s personal favorites.

All of these ideas to entertain kids are simple and most of them are even free. So if you are tired of hearing Mom, Mom, Mom and you need to keep your kids busy while at home this list should help.


Free Indoor Activities

  • Make the Coolest Blanket Fort.

Stack together chairs and furniture then lay blankets over the top. Add a ton of soft pillows and you have hours of free fun. Now you may say this is just for little kids but my teen plays this game with her 6-year-old little brother all the time.

  • Play “Would You Rather”.

For example, would you rather lick a dirty trashcan or the bathroom floor? Everyone in my family finds this game hilarious.
